Лавров рассказал о трудностях реализации советско-японской декларации

When it comes to the implementation of the Soviet-Japanese Declaration from 1956, would have to agree with a lot of additional detail, as the situation since those times has changed considerably, said Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

“The conditions that existed in the world and between our countries 60 years ago were qualitatively different in comparison with what the position is now occupied by Russia and Japan in the international system”, — he said at a press conference following the meeting with his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida.

“If it comes to the implementation of the Declaration of the 56th year, will have to coordinate a lot of details as to how and in what way under this Declaration, the steps can be carried out. However remains unchanged, apparently, a sequence that in the Declaration above, and an indispensable first step before anything else is the signing and entry into force of the peace Treaty,” — said Lavrov.
