Liquidated in Dagestan the leader of insurgents of Rustam Aselderov was involved in the terrorist attacks in Volgograd in 2013, according to the website of the FSB.

“Of committed (by Aselderov and his accomplices) terrorist acts are considered to be the bloodiest terrorist attacks in 2013 in the city of Volgograd in public transport and railway station, which entailed numerous victims,” the statement reads.

According to authorities, Aselderov organized two terrorist attacks in Dagestan suicide bombers exploded at a police post and village police Department in 2011. Also under his leadership was committed a suicide bombing in Makhachkala in September 2011, which killed five interior Ministry employees and more than 40 civilians were injured.

As noted by the FSB, Aselderov was also involved in the double path on the road “Astrakhan — Makhachkala” in which 40 people were killed and over 100 injured, and other crimes.

At the end of 2013 in Volgograd there was a double attack: on December 29 at the railway station, a suicide bomber blew himself up near the framework of metal detectors, another explosion occurred in the city the next day in the morning rush hour in a crowded bus. As a result of two terrorist attacks killed 34 people and 78 people were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
