Lutsenko considers groundless accusations Poroshenko in the bribery of deputies

The public Prosecutor of Ukraine Yury Lutsenko considers groundless the statement of the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Onishchenko, who accused the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in political corruption.

Onishchenko 30 November in an interview to Ukrainian journalists accused the administration Poroshenko of bribery of members of Parliament. According to him, Poroshenko gave a bribe for the promotion of the necessary initiatives. Onishchenko said that he gave the Americans “documented the corruption of Poroshenko, including recordings of conversations with the President of Ukraine”. According to the Deputy, he tapped into a special recorder in a wristwatch.

“I have not received anything (regarding the statement by Onishchenko – ed), except unfounded statements of mister Onishchenko about any political persecution”, — said the Prosecutor General on Tuesday at the briefing, it was broadcast channel “112 Ukraine”.

Earlier Rada of Ukraine gave consent to criminal prosecution, detention and arrest Onishchenko in the “gas business”. He left Ukraine on the eve of voting in Parliament. Ukraine has addressed in the Interpol with the request to declare the wanted list Onishchenko.

The security service of Ukraine (SBU) opened a criminal case against Onishchenko of treason. SBU suspects him of preparing to destabilize the situation in Ukraine. Also, the secret service said that the Deputy allegedly received the passport of the citizen of the Russian Federation and prepares the “information attack on Ukraine”.
