Famous Austrian Quartet «the target, however» (Janoska) for the first time will perform in Moscow with a concert «Viennese new year’s miracle» in the Great hall of the Moscow Conservatory on Friday, reported the press service of the Conservatory

Ensemble «the target, however» was founded by three brothers the target, however — Ondrej (violin), františek (piano) and Roman (violin), and their brother-in-law Julius Darvas (double bass).

The concert is dedicated to the presentation of the album «Janoska Style», which included works such as «Mephisto waltz» of Liszt, Piazzolla, Adiós Nonino, Caprice No.24 Nicolo Paganini, fantasy from Bizet’s Opera «Carmen» by Waxman and musical compositions of members of the Quartet «the target, however».

«The team is inherent in classic beautiful sound, delicate phrasing and virtuosity, and in his interpretations of the musicians rely on the tradition of Central European folklore, folk motifs and enchanting dances, complementing their improvisations. Special guest of the evening will be Russian cellist Borislav Strulev.

Members of the Quartet perform in the most famous concert halls in the world, including new York’s Carnegie Hall, at the Opera house in Sydney, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, at the Royal albert Hall in London, Berlin, Vienna Philharmonic and many other halls. The ensemble has performed on stage with legends of the music world, including Bobby McFerrin, B. B. king, Paco de Lucia, Angelika Kirchschlager, felicity Lott and other

Borislav Strulev as the soloist made his debut at Carnegie Hall in 1999 and played with the legendary pianist Byron, Janice, and also participated in recording soundtracks for the film «Turbulence» («La Turbulence des fluides») by Luc Besson. The musician performed together with Elena Obraztsova, Denis Matsuev, Ildar Abdrazakov, George Garanjana and others.
