The Russians are not yet ready to pension reform, conceived by the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank, writes the newspaper «Izvestia» with reference to the study of the analytical center NAFI.

The vast majority of citizens, according to the survey results, confident that their future pension should take care of the state. Only 16 percent of respondents are willing in one way or another to participate in private programs, to accumulate a pension on their own or by the employer.

Such data, according to the publication, did not correlate with the information upon which the initiators of the new pension reform.

The Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank has drawn up a draft of individual pension capital, which suggests that citizens on their own will pay up to six percent of their wages to the account in the pension Fund. To stimulate the development of such systems, provided the tax benefit.
