The Russian government postponed for six months the entry into force of the ban on transporting of children by buses older than 10 years. The relevant document posted Saturday on the official portal of legal information.

The resolution on amendments to the rules of the organized transport groups of children by buses was made in the summer of 2015. The requirement to use the organized transportation of groups of children only buses older than 10 years would take effect from 1 July 2015, but was postponed to 1 January 2017.

«In paragraph 3 of the decree of the RF government dated December 17, 2013 №1177 «On approval of rules of transportation of organized groups of children by buses», the words «1 January 2017» to replace with words «1 July 2017», — the document says.

The point at which the change relates to requirements for year of the bus: for transporting children, use the bus year which was not more than 10 years, and that «consistent with the purpose and design of the technical requirements for the carriage of passengers, allowed to participate in road traffic, and include in the prescribed manner by the tachograph, and with the equipment of satellite navigation GLONASS or GLONASS/GPS».
