The Russian government approved the program for implementation of the state national policy, the document published on the official portal of legal information.

The program «Implementation of state national policy» the 2017-2025 years aimed at strengthening civil unity and development of ethnic and cultural diversity of the peoples, and promotion of historical and cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia.

Total funding for the programme amounts to about 26 billion rubles. It is noted that from 2017 to 2025 for these purposes would be made available annually from 2.1 to 3.7 billion rubles.

The programme consists of eight subprogrammes. So, according to the document, funding of public-public partnerships in the field netzpolitik provided for an estimated 11.8 billion. Participants in this programme are Ministry of education and science and Federal Agency on nationalities.

«The all-Russian civil identity and ethno-cultural development of Nations» pledged almost 4.5 billion rubles. To support the Russian language and the languages of the peoples of Russia plans to spend nearly 275 million rubles.

As stated in the document, the order of 1.3 billion rubles will be directed for support of indigenous peoples of Russia and protection of their ancestral habitat and traditional way of life. Financing of the Russian Cossacks, whose support is also provided by the program amounts to 485 million rubles.

In addition, the program provides funding for «socio-cultural adaptation and integration of migrants in Russia» for these purposes is planned to spend 767 million rubles, a participant of the subprogramme is assigned to the interior Ministry.

The document also provides funding for «prevention of extremism on national and religious grounds», the total amount of money directed to these purposes is nearly 555 million rubles.
