U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson and the Minister of internal security, John Kelly, on Thursday he will hold talks with Mexican partners to develop strategies to combat transnational criminal organizations, said the U.S. state Department.

Part of the Mexican delegation will include, in particular, the Minister of foreign Affairs Luis Videgaray.

«The dialogue will identify new strategic approaches to curb the business model of the multi-billion dollar transnational criminal organization, which deliver drugs into the U.S. and commit crimes throughout Mexico,» said the state Department.

It is noted that the meeting will be «continuing a productive dialogue between the two countries on security issues».
