A court in St. Petersburg has extended the arrest of priest Grozovsky

The St. Petersburg city court on Friday extended till June 14 the arrest of suspended from the service of priest Gleb Grozovsky, who is accused of pedophilia, reported the press service of the court.

«Saint Petersburg city court ruled on the extension of remand in custody in respect of G. V. Grozovsky, who is accused of committing a crime under p. b h 4 of article 132 of the criminal code to 14 of June», — stated in the message.

The investigative Committee of St. Petersburg Grozovsky accused in committing sexual abuse against three girls. One episode has occurred, according to the UK, in the summer of 2011 in the Orthodox children’s camp in Leningrad region, two in June 2013 on the island of KOs in Greece. Primorsky district court of St. Petersburg in November 2013 correspondence made the decision to arrest Grozovsky after the institution of proceedings against him. Itself Grozovsky at the time was in Israel. 2013 Grozovsky decision of the Russian Orthodox Church removed from service in connection with the allegations. Earlier it was reported that on 17 September 2016, he was taken to Petersburg jail after being extradited from Israel.
