USA during a ceremony in Riyadh with the participation of President Donald trump and Secretary of state Rex Tillerson has signed defence contracts with Saudi Arabia by 110 billion dollars, told reporters the White house spokesman.

«The President and the Secretary of state Tillerson attend the signing ceremony of documents on military sales of almost 110 billion dollars», — said the representative of the White house.

According to him, these contracts greatly expand the cooperation between the US and Saudi Arabia in the field of security and contribute to stability. «They will also enhance the Kingdom’s participation in anti-terrorist operations throughout the region, reducing the burden of these operations, which now lies on the US military», — said the employee of the US administration.

As reports Reuters with reference to the employee of the White house, these contracts «support long-term security of Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf region in the face of threats of Iran.»

In addition, according to the White house, the contracts will help to create tens of thousands of jobs in the United States.

Saudi Arabia is in third place in the world in military expenditures after the United States and China.
