Authorized under the RF President on the rights of the child Anna Kuznetsova will visit Finland on a three-day working visit in which he will discuss with his Finnish counterpart the bilateral cooperation in the sphere of protection of children’s rights, told RIA Novosti press-service of the Russian Ombudsman.

«At the invitation of the Commissioner for children’s rights in Finland Mr. Tuomas Kurttila may 21-23, will make a working visit to Finland of the Commissioner under the RF President on the rights of the child Anna Kuznetsova… In the course of the visit, Anna Kuznetsova and Tuomas Kurttila will discuss the issues of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of protection of the rights of children and families with children», — stated in the message.

It is noted that in the programme of the visit included acquaintance with the work of the Finnish shelters for mother and child, as well as familiarity with child protection systems of Finland and work to maintain the health of children and families.

«It is important to reach a new level of cooperation in the protection of the rights of Russian children, including those living in other countries,» — said Kuznetsov to RIA Novosti, commenting on the upcoming trip.

Kuznetsova had earlier told reporters that he plans to sign with counterpart agreement to work together and establish a systematic solution to the problems arising in the sphere of protection of rights of Russian children in Finland.
