The rating of the new President of South Korea is over 80%

The rating favorites may 9, South Korean President moon Jae-Ins amounted to 81,6%, with reference to data of a public opinion poll conducted by a South Korean organization Realmeter, told Yonhap news Agency.

This is the first survey after the election of a new President. It was attended by 2526 voters. Among the respondents, 10.1 percent voted against the new President, and 8.3% were undecided.

A measure of public support and trust the new President is much higher than its predecessors in the first week after the inauguration of President Park Geun-Hye in 2013 was 54.8%, and Lee Myung-bak in 2008 — 76%.

The poll’s margin of error is estimated at 1.9%.

Presidential elections were held in South Korea on may 9 this year after the previous President, Park Geun-Hye was dismissed because of the suspicion of complicity in the corrupt machinations of her nearest friend. Park Geun-Hye was declared the impeachment, the decision was approved by the Constitutional court. She was subsequently taken into custody on Tuesday held the first hearing in her case.
