The financing of Russia’s participation in the international exhibition «EXPO-2017» in Astana from the Federal budget amounted to 200 million rubles, said the General Commissioner of the Russian section of the exhibition, Deputy Minister of industry and trade of the Russian Federation Georgy Kalamanov at a press conference at the international multimedia press center MIA «Russia today».

«At the moment the budget allocation of the Federal budget is 200 million rubles. We plan to attract extra-budgetary sources,» — said Kalamanov to the question about the cost of Russia’s participation in the exhibition. according to him, sponsors will be company Rosatom and other Russian companies-participants.

In February, in an interview with RIA Novosti Kalamanov told that «EXPO-2017» will be attended by such large Russian companies as «Rosatom», «rosseti», «Transneft», NOVATEK, URALCHEM, Uralkali, Norilsk Nickel, «Hevel», «Rotek», «Uralvagonzavod».

International specialized exhibition «EXPO-2017» will be held in Kazakhstan from June 10 to September 10 2017. The event will showcase the latest achievements of science in the development of «green» energy.

As reported by the Kalamanov, the Russian exposition will focus on the Arctic theme. In the Russian pavilion will be presented to the nuclear energy unit of renewable energy sources, as well as key areas related to the development of the oil and gas sector, petrochemistry and gas chemistry. As previously reported, Kalamanov, the Russian pavilion is one of the largest expositions at the exhibition: about a thousand square meters on the first level and about the same on the second level.
