Arkhangelsk authorities spent in the 2011-2016 years to the support of organizations of territorial public self-government (TOS) 165 million rubles, said at a meeting in the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Deputy Governor for domestic policy Alexey Andronov.

«Over the past five years of regional and local budgets TPS received more than 120 million rubles, and taking into account extra-budgetary sources the amount of support amounted to 165 million rubles. This amount was realized in 1762 of the project», — quotes the press service of the regional government of the word Andronov.

He noted that today in the Arkhangelsk region has had a comprehensive system of cooperation between the authorities and the TPS, the support of these organizations has a clear legal framework and funding specific state programs. The region was 983 on TOS, which is 20 times more than 10 years ago.

According to statistics, more than half of the TOS projects implemented in the field of «improvement of the settlement». In 2016 TOS Pomerania repaired six bridges, restored more than 13 thousand square meters of roads and almost 2 kilometres of pavements have constructed 20 wells and other water sources. Also public men restored 28 memorials of the great Patriotic war and 14 the monuments of religious heritage, organized 52 40 children’s and sports grounds, resulted in the order of 40 cultural facilities and landscaped public places 17.
