The Bryansk authorities are ready to strengthen bus service to the border regions of Ukraine, if the need arises in connection with the cancellation of the Ukrainian trains, told RIA Novosti the representative of the regional Department of industry, transport and communications.

The newspaper «Kommersant» on Thursday, citing a source close to the government of Ukraine, said that Ukraine is preparing to discontinue rail passenger service with Russia roughly from 1 July. According to him, the pretext for this decision will be the reluctance of the Railways «to stop passenger transportation in Russia from the ATO and, in particular, from Donetsk, which violates the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.»

«We have our own bus (ed.), it goes from Klimovo (Bryansk region) to Kiev twice a week. He’s not particularly busy, out of 45 seats normally occupied seats 20, but still people go there and there. If necessary, can add the transport, but so far no such need», — said the Agency interlocutor

Bryansk oblast borders on Chernihiv and Sumy regions of Ukraine. Transport is by buses and rail. As explained in the Directorate of railway station Bryansk Orlovskiy through the Bryansk daily go transit trains from Moscow to Kiev, Lviv, Odessa, no change in their movement at the present time is not observed.
