The OPEC agreement would not involve the reduction of oil production in Libya and Nigeria, said the Minister of energy, industry and mineral resources Saudi Arabia Khalid al-falih.

«No,» he replied to a question about these two countries.

According to the results of the Ministerial meeting on Wednesday in Vienna monitoring Committee recommended extending the agreement to reduce oil production for another nine months, leaving unchanged the volume reduction. The final decision will be taken at a meeting of OPEC and the countries not members of the organization, may 25.

PECK 30 November last year in Vienna agreed to cut production by 1.2 million barrels per day from October levels to stabilize oil prices. 11 non-OPEC countries in December agreed to reduce its production a total of 558 thousand barrels, including RF — 300 thousand. The agreement was concluded for the first half of 2017 with possibility of extension. No obligation to reduce production does not carry the two countries — Libya and Nigeria.
