«Far Eastern generating company» (DGK, part of the «RAO ES of East») plans during the year to carry out the next stage of gasification of the Khabarovsk CHP-1, which resulted in the emissions of the station in the atmosphere will be reduced by 15%, the company said.

«The next stage of gasification of the plant will reduce the emissions of polluting substances into the atmosphere by 15% (or 1670 tons per year) of the total mass of pollutant emissions of Khabarovsk CHP-1», — stated in the message.

The use of gaseous fuels also helps to reduce the slag and to save resources ash dump station. Object input in operation is planned for December 2017.

After completion of works of boiler unit No. 15, as and seven other gas-boiler, will retain the ability to run on coal during planned or emergency outages of gas supply.

The previous seven boilers of the Khabarovsk CHP-1 was gasified in the period from 2006 to 2016. During this period, the emissions of polluting substances in atmosphere was reduced by 2.5 times, the formation of ash and slag waste – four times.

DHA produces thermal and electric energy, and also provides centralized heat supply of consumers in the areas of the power plants in the Khabarovsk and Primorsky territories, Amur region, Jewish Autonomous region and the southern region of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). For DHA also establishes the sales function of thermal energy to end consumers.
