Sberbank has no plans to enter the market of the Crimea can lead to broader sanctions against Russia’s largest Bank and to have serious negative consequences for the Russian economy, said the head of Bank Herman Gref.

«Crimea and work in the Crimea with the Ukrainian business is not connected. It is not a question of my willingness or unwillingness. We must understand that our presence in the Crimea automatically means getting under a very wide range of sanctions — not only are there now», — said Gref on a press-conferences following the results of annual meeting of shareholders.

«The consequences for the economy can be such that even could not yet speak about the beginning of our work in the Crimea», — said the head of the largest Russian Bank.
