The death toll in anti-government protests in Venezuela has already reached 60 people, according to Nacional. Officially called yet the figure of 55 dead.

According to the list of victims published by the portal Nacional, among the victims were three employees of law enforcement bodies (one national guard soldier and two policemen). The other victims – the civilians. Among them, nine were teenagers aged 14 to 18 years.

In Venezuela since early April, are mass protests after the Supreme court’s decision to severely limit the power of opposition in the National Assembly. The decision was reversed, but opposition supporters took to the streets demanding the resignation of the members of the court, and hold early elections.

Now they are protesting against the convocation of the constituent Assembly, considering it an attempt to change the Constitution.

According to the latest data announced by the Prosecutor General, the number of deaths in the course of the stock has reached 55, and the wounded — 1 thousand people.
