A group of armed men seized a prison in southern Tripoli in Libya, where the detained officials of the regime of Muammar Gaddafi, reports AFP, citing a source in the judiciary.

Prison guards were forced to retreat after a group of armed men loyal to the government of national consensus, attacked her, sources said, noting that two guards were killed.

In Libya now is diarchy in the East of the country in the city of Tobruk, sits a Parliament elected by people, and in the West in the capital Tripoli ruled formed with the support of the UN and Europe, the government of national consent headed by Fathom Barragem.
