. The Minister of internal security of the USA John Kelly considers useful any channels of communication with Russia.

The Minister in interview to TV channel ABC has commented about the alleged contacts of the transition team, Donald trump with the Russian representatives.

«To have channels of communication with countries or organizations that are not particularly friendly with us, that’s good… Any channels of communication with countries, especially like Russia, it’s good,» said Kelly.

Earlier, the Washington Post, citing U.S. officials familiar with intelligence the United States, reported that the adviser and son-in-law of U.S. President Jared Kushner in early December 2016 during a meeting with Russian Ambassador to the USA Sergei Kislyak in the Trump Tower skyscraper allegedly offered to establish a secret channel of communication between Moscow and the transition team of trump, using for these purposes the Russian diplomatic mission in the United States.

At the same time, Kelly did not confirm or deny the information contained in the Washington Post.

US intelligence agencies had previously accused Russia of trying to influence the election, Russia has repeatedly denied the allegations, press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov called them «completely unfounded». Some time ago to investigate the «relationships trump of Russia», which deny as the White house and the Kremlin, was appointed special Prosecutor Robert Mueller.
