The Prime Minister of the Bolshoi ballet, Denis Rodkin in an interview with RIA Novosti admitted that dancing princes is the hardest, because all the positive roles are too similar.

«I believe that the dance Prince – the most difficult. They all look like that in «Sleeping beauty» in «Swan lake». They all are positive. Negative party to perform much more interesting and easier to have something «catch». Dancing Prince, the main thing to convey to the audience this way, his positive energy. But not for a moment forget about the perfection of classical dance, because the Prince is always clean classic», — said Rodkin.

According to the artist, in addition to princes, he had such roles as the ballet Kurbsky in Ivan the terrible and Spartacus the Grigorovich ballet, he also performed the role of Pechorin in the ballet of Yury Posokhova «a Hero of our time».

«I danced the party that for me was a big surprise. But it so happened that Yuri Nikolaevich was needed Spartak, and he said to me: «Let’s cook». And I already played Spartacus not only Large, but also in Greece and more recently in Antwerp. Grigorovich cheers: «well Done, develop, I was not mistaken in you». Praise the Master expensive. And that means we have to work and work to live up to the trust of such a person», — said the artist.
