The Prime Minister of the Bolshoi theatre Denis Rodkin in an interview with RIA Novosti admitted that finding a profession, equal in complexity to the work of a dancer is difficult, it is comparable to professional sports.

«I don’t even know who to compare our profession complexity. Maybe with the athletes. But they have another – they are several years preparing to show their achievements once, but they have a few attempts. And we have the second attempt – it is necessary now to show everything is perfect,» said Rodkin.

He also explained that the dancer often there are some small injuries, and it is necessary to learn to live.

«When you go on stage, you cannot show that you have something hurts. In the hall that no one cares. The audience came to see the show and get pleasure from a great performance. And we have no right to deceive their expectations», — said Rodkin.
