«Mail of Russia» from September of the current year will no longer adopt from China unregistered postal item that does not contain a barcode, which cannot be traced, reported to journalists the Deputy General Director of «Mail» for mail order business, and Express delivery, managing of Moscow branch Sergey Malyshev.

Unregistered package, envelope with commercial attachment without barcode and without the ability to track tracking. Now no online shopping, no postal administration nor the customers are not able to track unregistered of departure in their way. It often happens that the shipment is by sea or by road, transit through intermediary countries, which negatively affects the delivery time greatly increases the risk of loss or damage to items.

«Roughly, from September this year, affecting traffic from China will stop doing what we promised,» — said Malyshev. He noted that now the percentage of lost mail is 0.0016 inch in 10-12 times less than in 2013, when we launched a new management team to «Mail».

«Most of lost small packets — unchecked, and we often can not identify the place where was their loss», — said General Director of «Post» Dmitry Strashnov. According to him, within the framework of the universal postal Union (UPU) «to build a constructive dialogue» on the issue of registration of small packets. «In 2018 we expect that a decision will be made Navy waiver unregistered small packets. We were supported by 15 countries, even those who initially opposed it. Great merit for the progress of this project lies on us,» said Strashnov.

«We are one of the largest markets-recipients of mail. For us check the small packets is critical. And so we await the decision in the framework of the UPU on the refusal of the registered small packets», — said the head of the company.

«Mail of Russia» at the end of last year announced its intention to refuse to accept unregistered packages that were going to do from 1 January, but was postponed. As a result, the number of admissions unrecorded packages already decreased significantly, Malyshev said. «Last year, unregistered packages was 70%, and registered — 30%. This year the situation is changing. The recorded traffic was 80%, and the unrecorded — 20%», — he said.

Earlier it was reported that the innovation relates to unregistered small packets, which are used to deliver orders from online stores. Foreign postal operators that are signatories to additional conditions, will be able, if they wish, to send unregistered shipments as before, but the Russian «Mail» raises tariffs on their reception. Those postal operators that do not sign topolove, to send shipments only to the city peace (Yakutia).

Such measures, as noted by the Mail earlier, will improve the level of customer service, will ensure control over the timing of the passage of the mail, will increase the safety of items and will allow to struggle with an opaque flow of mail coming into Russia from Southeast Asia, not directly, but through a number of countries of Europe and CIS.

In addition, under the new rules the registered small packets must be predatirovaniya by region delivery to Russia in the country of origin and information about the recipient and the product must be automatically transferred by the mail system.
