Putin and Austrian Chancellor to meet at SPIEF

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Federal Chancellor of Austria, Christian Kern will discuss on the sidelines of SPIEF bilateral issues and also international issues, said Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.

«After the plenary session and will hold talks with Federal Chancellor of Austria Core. Will be discussed, of course, as bilateral issues, including in relation to trade, the economy as we discuss it in the framework of the economic forum, but will be discussed, of course, international problems», — said Ushakov told reporters.

SPIEF has been held since 1997, and since 2006 is held under the patronage and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation. The forum has become the world’s leading platform for communication of representatives of business circles and discuss the key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets and the world at large. This year the forum will be held in the Northern capital on June 1-3. Participation in the forum to date, 39 have confirmed of Ministers from 26 countries. The total number of participants — more than five thousand people.
