Russian export center (REC) is planning in mid-June to issue the first certificates to enable companies in the brand Made in Russia, told RIA Novosti Director of the REC on external communications Faith Podguzova on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg international economic forum.
«At the moment we have about 20 applications in a free form, these exporters have shown interest and want to join the program,» she said. Podguzova explained that the official collection of applications to be launched after the forum.
«Of course, we first will contact these exporters and the first to include them. Planned for mid-June, 20 days to issue the first certificates», she added.
She noted that interest was shown by very different companies. «AVTOVAZ» was interested in the Bite energy bars, clothes, baby furniture and equipment — completely different company. Companies in the SME segment is the most interesting inclusion in this program because they have limited advertising budgets, it is difficult for them. When they go to foreign markets, they need to position their brands, conduct research — we do this in the development of the umbrella brand,» she said.
Brand Made in Russia («Made in Russia») is created for the promotion of Russian products in Russia and abroad.
The St. Petersburg international economic forum, the world’s leading platform for business communication and discussion of key economic issues, this year takes place in the «Northern capital» 1-3 Jun. MIA Russia today acts as information partner of the forum.
