Iran’s Ambassador to Kabul was not injured in the blast in the Afghan capital, told RIA Novosti informed source in the Embassy.

A powerful bomb exploded in Kabul on Wednesday morning near the presidential Palace and buildings of foreign embassies. Many buildings were damaged, including the embassies of France and Germany. The death toll in the explosion has reached 90 people, 380 were injured. Media reported earlier that the blast damaged the Iranian Ambassador to Afghanistan Mohammad Reza Bahrami.

«Health Ambassador and Embassy staff in order. The Embassy suffered only material damage because of the powerful blast shattered Windows, collapsed the ceiling,» said the source.

According to preliminary data of the Ministry of interior of Afghanistan, the bomb was planted in a tanker for transportation of water. While no terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
