Moscow does not interfere in the Affairs of other States or their bilateral relations with third countries, but is concerned about the deterioration of relations between its partners, said the Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in talks with the foreign Minister of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdurrahman al Thani.

According to him, Moscow was concerned to respond to the worsening situation and the gap some Arab countries have diplomatic relations with Doha. The Minister noted that Russia stands for, «that any conflict has been resolved at the negotiating table by mutually respectful, equal dialogue».

«It is through direct dialogue, we can better understand the concerns of each other, to look at ways to address these concerns, ensuring transparency in all issues,» — said Lavrov.

The Ministers ‘ talks held in the backdrop of the diplomatic scandal that erupted between Doha and several Arab countries. On Monday, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE and Egypt severed diplomatic relations with Qatar, accusing it of supporting terrorist organizations and destabilize the situation in the middle East.

Later they were joined by the authorities of the Eastern part of Libya, Yemen and the Maldives, Mauritania, Comoros. Jordan and Djibouti have reduced the level of diplomatic relations, and Senegal and Chad have withdrawn their ambassadors. In the end to the blockade of Qatar decided not to join only two States in the cooperation Council of the Gulf countries — Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman.

This conflict occurred after the Qatari news Agency released a statement on behalf of the Emir of the country in support of building relations with Iran. The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Qatar, said that the Agency website was hacked the hackers, and published by them it has nothing to do with the leader of the country. However, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain considered the rebuttal unconvincing. The UAE Minister of state for foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash called on Qatar to change its policy and not to repeat past mistakes, to restore relations with neighbors.

One of the States that are undertaking mediation efforts, was Kuwait. The Emir of this country on Tuesday held talks with Saudi king on Wednesday visited Dubai, where he met with the leadership of the UAE, and then went to Doha for talks with Emir of Qatar.
