The wording of the Western media specifically forbid their correspondents to come to the Crimea, as journalists because of their professionalism will not be able to silence the real facts of life on the Peninsula, said the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

In Alushta started the first forum «Open to the Crimea: with my own eyes», it was attended by the Crimean authorities, deputies of the state Duma and the Federation Council, the official representative the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, experts and journalists from Russia and countries near and far abroad. The forum is supported by businessman and publisher of British Newspapers the Independent and London Evening Standard, Alexander Lebedev.

«Foreign correspondents – people who are intelligent, experienced. The issue is that their editors forbid them to come to the regions of Russia. This concerns not only Crimea, but the Crimea is the clearest example,» Zakharova said during the media forum.

Zakharova pointed out again that in case of arrival to the Peninsula, representative of the Western media, the professional will not be able to silence the truth about the situation in Crimea. Therefore, according to Zakharova, the editorial policy of Western Newspapers and television channels prohibits a visit to the Peninsula.
