Organization of red Crescent of the UAE recovered thermal power plant in the port of Moss in the South-West of Yemen, reported the Emirati news Agency WAM.

According to the Agency, the power plant suffered from looting, when it was controlled by the Yemeni rebels, the Houthis, and in the battles for the city.

Supporters of the Yemeni government regained control over the port of Mokha on the Red sea at the beginning of this year, with the support of the Arab coalition.

Capacity of the TPP in the city of Moss after the reconstruction is 145 megawatts. According to the Agency, its recovery was in record time. The power plant provides energy to the residents of the city and other districts of the province of Taaz.
