A renovation programme supported 67% of Muscovites, follows from the study of the all-Russia centre of studying of public opinion (VTSIOM).

Know about the existence of a restoration programme involving the demolition of dilapidated five-story building in Moscow, 98% of the capital’s residents, according to the materials.

«The level of support in the city as a whole remains high: among Muscovites who had heard of a large scale program of demolition of dilapidated housing, 67% at the end of may to support a program 15% – oppose its implementation», — reported in them.

According to the center, about the program do not know only 2% of the capital and 54% of knowledgeable especially interested in the topic.

«Residents of the areas of renovation were even more unanimous: more than three quarters — 80% — support the program of renovation of housing, 71% expect an improvement in living conditions as a result of participation in it», — stated in the message. Also, according to the study, residents of areas that can be implemented in the project, know about these safeguards, resettlement of programme participants within the district and the provision of equivalent apartments in new buildings.

The survey was conducted from 27 to 30 may, and was attended by 1.6 thousand inhabitants of Moscow. Earlier VTSIOM polls conducted on this subject in April and mid-may.
