The former head of Rosgranitsa Konstantin Busygin assumed the post of the head of administration of Baikonur, succeeding Anatoly Petrenko.

During the presentation ceremony of the new mayor, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said that managerial experience Busygin will be very useful for solving the complex problems in the new stage of development of Baikonur. «Given the fact of experience that he has, understanding how to work with Federal agencies how to work with Federal agencies, how to solve complex issues that have accumulated at Baikonur, I believe that this decision is absolutely adequate, suitable to place and time. After that, the current mayor of Baikonur went to work in Federal agencies and was appointed head of the Federal Agency for state border «Rosgranitsa».

Rogozin also thanked ex-mayor of Baikonur Anatoly Petrenko for the work that he has carried all this time. «This is our reliable friend, a partner, someone who has steadfastly led the administration of Baikonur in solving the most complex issues. A huge thank you for the work that he undertook. And of course, we hope that it will continue to help the new head of administration of Baikonur, to get familiar with those situations which are in the city, so important and complex and with great prospects», — said Rogozin.
