U.S. Ambassador to Qatar Dana shell Smith resigned after President Donald trump made a criticism of Gulf countries, said in his microblog Twitter correspondent for CNBC John Harwood.

On Friday 9 June the President of the United States Donald trump accused Qatar of financing terrorism and said that it was time to end it.

Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt on 5 June severed diplomatic relations with Doha and stopped with Qatar every message, accusing him of supporting terrorism and interference in their internal Affairs. Later on the rupture of diplomatic relations also said the Maldives, Mauritius, Mauritania. Jordan and Djibouti have reduced the level of its diplomatic missions in Qatar. Senegal, Niger and Chad announced the withdrawal of ambassadors.
