Russian aircraft Corporation «MiG» plans to 2021 to build about 300 aircraft Il-114, is designed for regional traffic, said CEO Ilya Tarasenko.

«It will be deployed mass production… I Want to note that maintenance of Il-114 will be conducted throughout the life cycle of the machine. We hope that will produce about 300 aircraft… the main thing Now is to produce the first prototype aircraft to start to fly, and supplies to deploy already in 2021,» said Tarasenko in an interview to the newspaper «Kommersant», published in number for Wednesday.

He noted that «it all depends on the sales system, organized by United aircraft Corporation».

«Program for after-sale service parts MiG, we started to develop now. To start the production of the car will be fully digital. The launch documentation will occur in the Ilyushin design Bureau, then transferred to OKB Mikoyan and continue to go to our production site is Nizhny Novgorod and Lukhovitsy, as well as a number of our subcontractors involved in the project. Thus, the loading of these sites occurs through the interaction within the KLA between civil and military division,» — said the General Director of RSK MiG.

According to him, while we are talking about the planned deliveries of the Il-114 internal to the customer, «but, of course, seen and selling abroad.»

The Il-114 is designed for regional traffic. Developed by Ilyushin design Bureau in the Soviet Union. The construction of the machines was organized in 1980-ies on the base of Tashkent aviation production Association named after V. P. Chkalov, where there were about 20 aircraft. On behalf of the President of Russia’s United aircraft Corporation began a program of modernization of the Il-114 with the aim of providing airlines of the Russian Federation machines of all domestic production capacity of about 60 passengers.
