The society in Russia must develop in stages, it is impossible that tomorrow in Russia came the same order as in the US, Germany and France, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.

«Of course, it is impossible to imagine that today or tomorrow we will become the same order as in USA, France or Germany. Society and the state, like any living organism, must evolve gradually, in stages. This is a normal process of development», — Putin said in an interview with the Director Oliver stone in the film shown on television channel Showtime.

In confirmation of his words, Putin noted that for nearly a thousand years the Russian government was a monarchy, then came the so-called revolution of 1917, came to power the Communists, at the head of the state was Joseph Stalin, and only in the early 90-ies of events occurred that marked the beginning of a new, democratic stage in Russia’s development.
