Nevsky district court of St. Petersburg on Thursday have registered the appeal for the arrest of four members of the organization «Church of Scientology of St. Petersburg», detained on charges of illegal business activities and inciting hatred or enmity, the press service of the court.

Custody previously entered into the head of Scientology of St. Petersburg Ivan Mareckova, Executive Director of the organization Galina Shurinova, head of Department for General Affairs Anastasia Terentyeva and chief accountant Sahib Aliyev. Concerning them criminal case under article «Illegal business, involving the generation of income in especially large size», «inciting hatred or hostility, and humiliation of human dignity» and «Participation in an extremist community».

«In Nevsky district court of St.-Petersburg the appeal on the decision to remand in custody in respect of Shurinova, Terentyeva, Mareckova and Aliyev», — stated in the message.

It is noted that the hearing of complaints the city court is not appointed yet.

Earlier it was reported that investigators of management of FSB across St.-Petersburg and Leningrad region managed to collect evidence of illegal receipt by the Scientologists for their services from 2013 to 2016, more than 276 million rubles. «The Church of Scientology of St. Petersburg», heard earlier in the trial the requests for arrest called the extremist organization, because its members are also guided by, in particular, publications that were previously recognized by the courts as extremist materials.
