Any group of people United by political and ideological views, no matter how small it may be, should have the right to nominate its own candidate in the elections, said the head of the CEC of Russia Ella Pamfilova. According to her, the state should ensure this right is not to push people in a lawless field.

«I think that to nominate a candidate should all let this 1%, let it is 0.1%,» — said Pamfilova in interview to TV channel «Rain».

On a question, whether it considers that the share coming to meetings today, only 2%, Pamfilova said: «people go to meetings on different issues.» «The regions facing truckers one of the problems in connection with housing problems other people come, others go for political in some aspects. Different people, different positions, different Outlook: there are right, left, green, red — anything. And to say that it’s 2% all together – it’s not so,» she said.

She said that the political field in Russia is rather complicated.

«And I believe that any group of people United by various political and ideological views should have the right to nominate its candidate. This is very important, I believe, and the state must ensure this right is not to push people into the radical field of non-legal field,» — said Pamfilova.
