. In 1995, the year the American scientist Nicholas Negroponte (University of Massachusetts) introduced the use of the term «digital economy». Now this term is used around the world, he entered into the everyday life politicians, businessmen, journalists. Last year one of the main reports of the world Bank contained a report on the state of the digital economy in the world (the report was published under the title «Digital dividend»).However, until now the content of this concept remains blurry, there is no clear definition in the report of the world Bank. In this article RIA «Science» contains the most General idea of what constitutes the digital economy.
For starters, it is worth Recalling the definition of regular «analog» economy – is an economic activity society as well as the totality of relations in the system of production, distribution, exchange and consumption. The use of computer, Internet, mobile phones can already be considered «consumption» in this case, the digital economy can be thought of as that part of economic relations, which is mediated by the Internet, cellular communication, ICT.

Doctor of economic Sciences, corresponding member of RAS Vladimir Ivanov gives the widest definition: «the Digital economy is a virtual environment that complements our reality».

May all our actions in a computer virtual reality can be attributed to the system of production, distribution, exchange or consumption. But, of course, virtual reality, as such, came not with the creation of the computer. All human thought can be attributed to her. In addition, money is the main instrument of the economy — also a product of virtuality, as they are coined the «measure» of the value of goods and services. But with the invention of the computer was able to «digitize» money, which, undoubtedly, has simplified the commodity-money relations has led to huge time savings and safer operations.

Meshcheryakov Roman — Professor, Russian Academy of Sciences, doctor of technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of optimization of management systems Institute of Cybernetics of Tomsk Polytechnic University believes that the term «digital economy» there are two approaches. The first approach of «classical Economics»: the digital economy is an economy based on digital technologies, and thus correct to characterize exclusively the e-goods and services. Classic examples are telemedicine, distance learning, sales mediacontent (film, TV, books, etc.). The second approach is advanced: «the digital economy» — an economic production with the use of digital technologies.

«At the present time, — says Roman., — some experts believe that it is necessary to extend this understanding to include the chain of goods and services that are provided using digital technologies, including concepts such as: Internet of things, industry 4.0, smart factory, communication networks of the fifth generation, engineering services prototypenbau and things.»

Indeed, before the virtual part of the world, which was located in the mental reality of man, was not a productive force, was not the environment that creates new ideas and products. Now the material part is aligned with the real: it is possible to create a «based on real events» the world, which he will «economy in the economy.»
The advantage of this world is that there you can do anything. This is important not only in the case when there is an opportunity to create an online game where you can jump to a height of a multistory building, to travel in space without a spacesuit and many times to die — this is important for testing, improving and testing new products. Thus, the digital economy received a gorgeous chance to overtake the «analog», which obliged each time to carry out crash test, breaking the machines in reality and not in virtual environment.

Alexandra Engovatova — candidate of economic Sciences, associate Professor of Economics of innovation Economics faculty of Moscow state University named after M. V. Lomonosov, gives this definition: «the Digital economy is the economy based on new methods of generation, processing, storage, data transmission, and digital computer technology».

«Under this economic model, emphasizes Alexandra Engovatova, is undergoing a radical transformation of existing market business model, a model of formation of added value changes significantly, the value of intermediaries at all levels in the economy is dramatically reduced. In addition, the increased importance of individual approach to the formation of the product — now we can simulate anything.»

Summarizing, we can say that the digital economy to cover all amenable to formalization, i.e., transformation into a logical schema. But life itself will develop a scheme by which this «something» can be fit into the system of production, distribution, exchange and consumption.
