The European stability mechanism (ESM), which is designed to maintain the Eurozone’s crisis countries, Greece contributed new subtrans loan in early July, said the head of ESM Klaus Regling.

New tranche to Athens from the European stability mechanism (ESM) will be 8.5 billion euros – this decision was made by the Council of Finance Ministers of the Eurozone countries on 15 June. However, the amount will be given parts.

The first transfer of this tranche will be made in early July and will amount to 7.7 billion euros, 0.8 billion euros and the rest transferred to Greece «after the summer» with the implementation of the Athens certain conditions, said Regling.

Since the beginning of the third program of financial aid in August 2015 ESM listed Greece to 31.7 billion euros. The total program can be up to 86 billion euros of loans.
