The police together with the UK, the FSB and Federal financial monitoring service has identified nearly 200 channels of human trafficking in Russia last year, said the Deputy head of the Directorate for combating organized crime of the Main Department of criminal investigation Department (Central Agency) Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Andrey Gusenko.

«Part of the measures identified 188 channels of trafficking, including 78 related to sexual exploitation, 73 labour exploitation», — quotes the words of Gusenko magazine of the interior Ministry «Police of Russia».

According to him, there were 23 documented crime in the trafficking and use of slave labor.

As stated, Gusenko, also of great concern is the activities of ethnic gangs, particularly kidnapping for ransom.

«Last year revealed 258 such crimes (kidnappings), of which 30 were committed in organized groups and criminal communities. 618 identified the perpetrators of these crimes», — he said.
