Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with the American Director Oliver stone said that he had no wealth ascribed to him.

Stone mentioned the rumors that Putin is «the richest man in the world».

«I have no such wealth, which they say», — said Putin.

Stone asked whether Putin’s accounts in Cyprus.

«No, and never was. It’s all nonsense. If it were, it would long ago have brought it,» Putin said.

«I don’t think it is a great happiness (wealth — ed.). You would think in a time of crisis, what to do with these assets, how to save, where to place and only a headache from it. You are much richer people than those who have their accounts lot of money. Do you have an opinion, you have talent, you have the opportunity to show you have the opportunity to leave behind a noticeable expense. The money this happiness does not give. In a coffin of pockets is not, the money will not take», — said Putin.
