«Fair Russia» is developing a draft law introducing criminal liability for forensic experts for conscious manipulation of the results of their examination, told RIA Novosti the leader of fraction Sergey Mironov.

According to GU Ministry of internal Affairs, April 23 in Balashikha, a local resident, driving a foreign car, was fouled and knocked down six-year-old child died on the spot. By results of examination it was established that «in the blood of the deceased found the concentration of ethanol, which corresponds to strong intoxication». On Thursday it became known that the boy’s body exhumed for vetting examination.

As reports a press-service «Fair Russia», the father of the child appealed to the first twelve years after the incident. The leader of the socialist party took the case to the control: wrote a request to the head of the main Department of the MIA of Russia in Moscow region Viktor Paukov for the criminal case and requested a reexamination.

«To challenge the results of such assessments are very difficult, even if this fails, error expert can not be punishable. So, they can make a mistake and continue, so the faction is developing a legislative initiative to toughen responsibility of forensic scientists to criminal prosecution for their work, penalizing errors that often completely subverted the investigation,» — said Mironov.

In his opinion, this outrageous case, which shows to what absurd can reach the «manipulation of evidence in cases where the investigation is controlled by someone’s hand.»
