Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said he plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin during the G20 summit in July in Germany.

He said this during a press conference on Monday. The live broadcast is channel NHK.

«There is agreement on holding a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin. I would like to have an open exchange of views,» said Abe.

The G20 summit will be held in Hamburg on 7-8 July.
