Alexei Batalov was a real aristocrat, was amazed at communication with it; with the actor left the age of great cinema, which changed people’s lives, said the Director Vladimir Menshov at the farewell ceremony.

The Director died at the age of 88 years on June 15. The actor will be buried at the Transfiguration cemetery, according to his will. People’s artist of the USSR has acted in more than 40 films, one of his most famous roles — gosh (Georgy Ivanovich) in the film Vladimir Menshov «Moscow does not believe in tears».

«When Chekhov asked about the actors of the Moscow art academic Tetra what they are unusual, he replied: «Actors as actors, but intelligent people. These roots, mhatovskim Alexey Vladimirovich always was, he grew up in the Mat and a father, and his mother was of Mat actors, and he was, above all, an intelligent person, even an aristocrat, and it hit it when meeting and communicating,» said Menchov.

The Director stressed that with the departure Batalov ended the era of the enormous reservoir of Russian cinema, which is embodied Batalov, the era when cinema was crucial in the upbringing of the person and changed people’s lives.
