The arbitration court of Moscow on Tuesday sought to the Khrunichev Center, the developer and manufacturer of carrier rockets, 3.2 billion rubles of losses due to the accident of «Proton-M» with three satellites «GLONASS» in 2013, RIA news from the hall of Arbitration court of Moscow.

«The court ruled to satisfy the claim of «Roscosmos» to the Center Khrunichev and the defendant to recover 3.2 billion rubles,» — the judge announced the operative part of the decision.

The court found that the cause of the accident manufacturing defects resulting in incorrect installation by the employees of the Khrunichev Centre of the angular velocity sensors in the yaw channel in the second stage of the launch vehicle.

Earlier losses due to the accident from the Center Khrunichev ordered the defense Ministry: the court ordered the company to pay about 1.8 billion rubles. Representatives of the Khrunichev Centre didn’t admit guilt.

The collapse of the «Proton-M» took place on 2 July 2013: carrier rocket with three satellites «GLONASS-M» deviated from course and fell on the territory of Baikonur in the first minute of flight.
