The Rosselkhoznadzor from 16 June imposed temporary restrictions on the import of the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan all kinds of ruminants, pigs and their genetic material and animal products not treated properly, due to the outbreak of pasteurellosis is stated in the message Department.

«In connection with the complex epizootic situation on the territory of Kazakhstan and confirmation of an outbreak of pasteurellosis, the Rosselkhoznadzor from 16 June 2017 introduced temporary restrictions on imports from the territory of the Karaganda region of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Russia of all species of ruminants, pigs and their genetic material and animal products obtained from these species, not undergone heat treatment at a temperature of 72°C for at least 30 minutes», — stated in the message.

Pasteurellosis — an infectious disease that occurs because of lower natural body resistance of animals to infectious agents.
