The Governor of Chelyabinsk region Boris Dubrovsky has demanded to find out who owns a bridge collapsed on Tuesday in the city of Katav-Ivanovsk, where four teenagers were injured, the press service of the Governor of the region.

As has informed gumvd of Russia on area, on Tuesday at 19.00 (17.00 GMT) was struck by the fragment of the bridge over the pond in Katav-Ivanovsk. Four teenagers aged 14-16 fell into the water, two were hospitalized. Upon state of emergency the investigating authorities TFR in the Chelyabinsk region conducted preliminary examination.

«The head of the region at a meeting on Wednesday with heads of municipalities and Executive authorities of the region asked the head of the Katav-Ivanovsky district Evgeny Kirshin to report on the state of health of the four teenagers injured in yesterday’s collapse of one of the beams of the bridge. The Governor also demanded to find out who owns the dam and which organization is responsible for its operation and safety», — is spoken in the message.

According to regional authorities, the head of the Katav-Ivanovsky district could not name the reasons for the collapse. «The causes of the incident are being investigated, adolescents suffered abrasions and minor injuries», – the press service quoted kirshina.

As reported by the Ministry of health of the region, after the collapse of the bridge in the hospital were delivered two teenage boys – one diagnosed with closed craniocerebral injury, the second injury of the chest. Girls are treated as an outpatient at home.
