Dvorkovich instructed to create a charging infrastructure for electric vehicles

Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich gave instructions on the design and construction of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, according to the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

So, the Deputy Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of emergency situations, Ministry of energy, Ministry of economic development and Ministry of industry and trade until October 25, prepare and submit to the government a draft normative legal act, which provides for amendments in the RF government decree «On fire mode». The Ministry should amend the rulebook «Built-in underground Parking lots. Fire safety requirements» as regards the elimination of barriers to the development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.

In addition, the Ministry of construction, Ministry of energy and the Ministry will have to amend the codes of practice and building regulations (SNiP) to regulate and streamline the design and construction of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.
