Emergency medical services and medical institutions of the Kaliningrad region has developed the evacuation of «victims» of fans in preparation for the FIFA world Cup in 2018, several of the games which will be held in the most Western Russian region, the press service of the government of the Kaliningrad region.

«It was the first training exercise of the Ministry, territorial service of disaster medicine and medical associations that will be involved during the championship in 2018. Physicians have demonstrated a willingness to eliminate medical and sanitary consequences «of the collapse of the stands» at the main stadium,» — said in the message.

One of the stages of training were carried out on the territory of the city ambulance station. According to legend, at the stadium, where the fans collapsed. On the scene arrived the ambulance, which determined the severity of the 10 extracted «from the wreckage» of the victims and the order of evacuation.

Then in the area where the «disaster» was sent 10 ambulance teams, and the agencies involved at the time of the 2018 world Cup, given the state of emergency.

In the second phase of training the staff of the exercise tested the organization and operation of healthcare organizations in terms of intake mass flow. According to representatives of the regional Ministry of health, in General, the exercises were successful, but the workout will continue.

The first ever world Cup in Russia will take place from 14 June to 15 July 2018. The tournament matches will be played in Moscow, Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-don, Sochi and Yekaterinburg. In Kaliningrad will host four group stage match: 16, 22, 25 and 28 June.
