The Ministry of energy of the Russian Federation and South Africa after talks in Moscow agreed to expand cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy, said Wednesday the Minister of energy of South Africa Mamaloca of Kubali.

«What we agreed (with the Russian energy Minister Alexander Novak, ed.), it’s about expanding cooperation in the energy sector. Thus, our sides are going to take a very serious approach to the study of issues in which we can reach agreement. For example, in the field of oil and gas», — said Kubayi at a briefing organized at the site of the Embassy of South Africa in Moscow.

As the Minister noted, only then will it be possible to talk in detail about some practical arrangements between the Russian Federation and South Africa.
